[edit]I've just moved this from Subaru Technica International. Some recent edits by a non-loggedin user prompted me to double check the name—it turns out that the official Subaru STi site calls it Tecnica. --Milkmandan 04:23, 2005 Mar 28 (UTC)
The middle paragraph of this article does not fit. It seems to imply that only certain models have the STI treatment and that all those models have the narrow list of parts mentioned. The mentioned parts represent only the MOST RECENT models. The use of the name "Liberty" shows me that this part of the article was created by someone from Australia since the Liberty title is not the standard name for the vehicle. Some of the Part way through the name is stated as Legacy but is incorrectly pluralized to Legacies. Although the information is useful it should be rewritten to be more accurate and moved to an article specific to the Impreza rather than the STI company page. Ciper (talk)
Major Edits
[edit]I just made a large number of edits to this article.
- This page needs a lot of references. I tagged where they are needed. This includes some of the information I added (sorry about that).
- Some of the references that were in the page did not have the information being cited. I replaced these with "citation needed" tags when I found them.
- There was a lot of extraneous information about the history of Subaru and Fuji Heavy Industries, but which did not pertain to STI in particular. I tried to remove this without disrupting the rest of the page.
- Two paragraphs from the "History" section belonged in the "Subaru models with STI trim" section. I moved them down and tried to integrate their information into the flow of that section.
- The whole page needed word flow improvements and paragraph reorganization. In several instances, information was not given in complete sentences. I have tried to fix these problems as best I could without completely rewriting them.
- Some of the paragraphs in the "Subaru models with STI trim" section were out of logical order. I tried to put them in an order which made better sense, either by category or by chronology.
- I removed a tag from the header that was giving an error.
The page could still use a lot of attention. -Athaler (talk) 19:28, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
- I forgot: I also cribbed a whole section about the history of the WRX from the "motorsports" section of the Impreza page. -Athaler (talk) 19:30, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
