Probably the best version of this would eliminate repeated links while linking to all horses' names since the lists of winners in race articles already link to them, but I did it the way I did it. (Also perhaps put the sons in birth order to the extent possible?)--Louis E./12.144.5.2/le@put.com
- Here's a suggestion, can we remove the comment abuot his Triple Crown Winners in the opening paragraph, since below we list his descendants that have won Triple Crown races? We can see that Pegasus won the 2000 KY Derby, but there were horses before him that won the KY Derby that came from Mr. Prospector. Seems to be a "bias", though it could just be what was put in before the family tree was added. --Figgie123
- Uhm, "Coaching Club American Oaks" is not a Triple Crown race, and this family tree states that it is showing Triple Crown winners, not other race winners. If we add non-Triple Crown races to this, it will go on forever... --Figgie123
Messy
[edit]Considering that quite a lot of effort has gone in to this it's a real mess structurally, and there are way too many unreferenced statements along with head-slappingly obvious remarks like the one about being descended from the Darley Arabian. I'm not sure that Funny Cide is a good example to use when discussing Mr P's enduring legacy. I'm going to have a crack at improving it without taking out anything important. Like I said, some people have put a lot of time into this, but it needs knocking into shape.Tigerboy1966 (talk) 23:28, 14 October 2011 (UTC)
