Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mentevale
I noticed this entry among the articles that needed urgent translation. I have read this article, it refers to a hypothetical white-collar variation of "manovale", the Italian word for "laborer". To my knowledge, and that of Garzanti's & other dictionaries, this word does not exist. The definition looks like a neologism from a blog which this article advertises and whose link is also broken. The bpttom half of the article contains comments which seem to be taken from that blog but i could find no confirmation for that either. It sounds like a strong political protest against Italian state employees and their poor working conditions. As such, i do not think it belongs here or to any Wikis at all and i think it should be deleted.

For what it's worth, here are the comments from Wikipedia:Pages needing translation into English:
- Looks like Italian. A Google translation suggests that its a dictdef and/or nonsense; could someone confirm? [[User:David Johnson|David Johnson [T|C]]] 16:36, 11 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Looks like its about an Italian-language neologism; I didn't spend a lot of time on it, but the second half looks comic. Probably Italian Wiktionary, at best. -- Jmabel | Talk 22:02, Dec 11, 2004 (UTC)

- Delete. Although it was only on Wikipedia:Pages needing translation into English for a week, I think we have given it enough time. We have no idea what it may contain, and the IP who contributed it has replied in what appears to be the same language in Talk:Mentevale, so we are unlikely to get help from them. I've left them the best welcome I could think of. Andrewa 17:37, 19 Dec 2004 (UTC)

- Delete as long as it is indeed neologism. David Johnson [T|C] 23:31, 23 Dec 2004 (UTC)
