Section on Garnet 5.5 needs updating
[edit]References to Garnet VM's imminent release are most likely passé. New information is needed to explain the current (05/01/2009) state of affairs.
Working state?
[edit]Palm OS' infobox states that it is current. Should this rather be "Superseded by webOS" or something like that? Ginbot86 01:22, 6 March 2010 (UTC)
I would argue "No", since Garnet is a product of ACCESS and WebOS was a product of Palm.
"Third party" OS enhancements?
[edit]Why are 4/5 of the things listed under the "Third party OS enhancements" heading done by Palm? They aren't third party if Palm made them right? --Revcompgeek (talk) 02:33, 27 February 2011 (UTC)
- I haven't looked these specific things up, but I suspect that at the time these were created Palm was a licensee of the OS. Steven Fisher (talk) 20:12, 7 July 2011 (UTC)

Language
[edit]The language in the body of the text describing historical events is awkward. It tends to talk in the present, when the event is long past. e.g.
Palm OS 1.0 is the original version present on the Pilot 1000 and 5000.
Where "Palm OS 1.0 was the original version present on the Pilot 1000 and 5000." (I'd argue "Palm OS 1.0 was the version present on..." scans better)
Version 1.0 features the classic PIM applications Address, Date Book, Memo Pad, and To Do List. Also included is a calculator and the Security tool to hide records for private use.
Surely, "featured"... the tense then changes to past in the next sentence. This continues throughout the article. I'd argue that the entire body of text should be in the past tense because the OS is no longer developed. I'll do the changes if no one else wants to 87.224.31.130 (talk) 12:31, 10 January 2013 (UTC)
