User talk:Summerprince
Hi Gavin, welcome to wikipedia!
I noticed you added several stubs for embassies with nearly identical content. In such cases when there are many related entries about which there is nothing much to say, it is a common rule to create a single article (In your case it would be, say, Embassies and consulates of Swaziland) that contains the whole list with brief data for each item. In the case when a particular entry receives a more extended description, it is separated into its own article, referred from the common list. You must agree, it is convenient for a reader to have all related data in a single place. Mikkalai 17:44, 19 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- Hmm, that is correct. ^ ^ I will edit accordingly. Gavin 17:48, 19 Sep 2004 (UTC)
Beslan school hostage crisis move
[edit]I reverted your edits/move of the Beslan school hostage crisis article. If you want to move a page, use the move feature, otherwise the history of the article will be lost. If the article you want to move the article to already exist, ask an admin to delete it. Also, the naming of this particular article was heavily discussed on its talk page. If you want the page moved, it might be best if you would first read the old discussion and then state your reasons why you want to move the article. Thank you. --Conti|✉ 01:50, Nov 10, 2004 (UTC)
Hives' song
[edit]Please don't post song lyrics, it is a copyright violation. Also, if there isn't enough to say about a certain song to write a non-stubby article, it's generally best to not start an article on it, and just include the info on either the album that it's from's article or the band's article. And, if there is enough, the title of the article should not include quotation marks (if the song name is ambiguous, include (song) after the name). Hope this helps. Please provide the sources of the photos. Saying that they are Soviet is clearly not enough. Mikkalai 21:48, 9 May 2005 (UTC)
- Why? It should be sufficient; the photos were taken by Soviet authorities before 1973.Gavin

The reasons given is that they are all orphaned (no links to them), and all are unencyclopedic. Staecker 2 July 2005 05:58 (UTC)
- I encourage it. Though the last one was, indeed, encyclopedic; it was later removed by popular opinion.

Image Tagging Image:Himalayas from plane.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Himalayas from plane.jpg. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the image also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you can claim fair use use {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or {{fairuse}}. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of image pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thanks so much. --Pak21 14:56, 24 December 2005 (UTC)
November Criminals
[edit]I made some changes to articles refering to them - as they ofter are misspelled as November criminals. I nearly changed your draft page, before I realized it was in User but not Article space. Agathoclea 13:03, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
