[edit]Clearly falsifiable, I'd say... Voting on this stuff takes more time and energy than posting it User:Wetman
I'm going to fix this entry up tomorrow. I'm too lazy to do it tonight. I've got a lot of experience with the Discordian sub-culture, though.
not false
I could use some help formatting this stuff properly for the article. OMGASM is a branch of Operation Mindfuck which has been very active in the past year - all Golden Apple Seed Missions qualify as part of Operation Mindfuck.
ColbertGASM - collaborative prank to get Stephen Colbert to say "23 Skidoo" on TV as a signal to participants of OM
EggGASM - annual prank involving hiding plastic easter eggs with absurd things inside them.

[edit]Operation Mindfuck was referenced by comedian Frankie Boyle in a recent episode of Mock the Week: "You've each been selected for this mission because you're unknown to the enemy and you each have a special skill. Professor Hawking, John Leslie, Phil Neville, the Wu-Tang Clan, Usher, the Sugar Puffs Monster and Daniel Day Lewis! WELCOME...TO OPERATION MINDFUCK!"

"It's hard to nail down Discordians - which figures, since they're dedicated to the sowing of Discord, generally of the mental kind. They don't damage the physical world much in worship of sexy ol' Eris, Goddess of Chaos. Discordians all work, I mean play, in their spare time, on Operation Mindfuck - an insidious yet disorganized attempt to tear down your old mental paradigms without offering anything with which to replace them. Techniques include everything from elaborate pranks, to . . .well, simple pranks. Sort of a Zen version of the Merry Pranksters." -- Reverend Ivan Stang, High Weirdness By Mail (Fireside Books, 1988).
- More of the same, this was smoothed over fast. YhnMzw (talk) 15:22, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
Meaningless page
[edit]This is absolutely uninformative.Kiwi Rex (talk) 03:05, 3 July 2020 (UTC)
- You're reading it wrong. Beeblebrox (talk) 17:10, 5 July 2020 (UTC)
- You mean it's intentionally meaningless? If that's the case, it should be mentioned in the page. Kiwi Rex (talk) 20:43, 7 July 2020 (UTC)
