Welcome!
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- How to edit a page
- Editing, policy, conduct, and structure tutorial
- Picture tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Naming conventions
- Manual of Style
- If you're ready for the complete list of Wikipedia documentation, there's also Wikipedia:Topical index.
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome!
Thanks for uploading Image:High Level Bridge.jpg. I notice it currently doesn't have an image copyright tag. Could you add one to let us know its copyright status? (You can use {{gfdl}} if you release it under the GFDL, or {{fairuse}} if you claim fair use, etc.) If you don't know what any of this means, just let me know where you got the images and I'll tag them for you. Thanks so much, JYolkowski // talk 01:48, 22 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Images
[edit]I noticed you uploaded a number of images from airliners.net. Unfortunately, we cannot use them on Wikipedia, as the copyright of that website doesn't allow it. Burgundavia 04:54, Apr 24, 2005 (UTC)
Calgary airport authority pictures
[edit]Unfortunately, the pictures you uploaded from calgaryairport.com are also violations of copyright, as their site licencing doesn't allow non-personal use either. Burgundavia 04:58, Apr 24, 2005 (UTC)
Lethbridge Community College picture
[edit]Again, this picture is also a violation of copyright, as again, the site doesn't allow non-personal use. Burgundavia 05:02, Apr 24, 2005 (UTC)
Not to be rude, but as every other one of your images was a copyright violation, can you tell me where you downloaded this image from? Burgundavia 05:03, Apr 24, 2005 (UTC)
- I noticed you changed it back to PD. Can you please tell me the source of that image? Burgundavia (✈ take a flight?) 10:52, May 14, 2005 (UTC)
Calgary Int. Airport
[edit]Also, the text you added to this page was also a copyright violation from www.calgaryairport.com Burgundavia 05:07, Apr 24, 2005 (UTC)

Please do not remove copyvio tags. They need to stay on the article or image at least seven days, until resolved at Wikipedia:Copyright problems. Thanks --Duk 16:29, 5 May 2005 (UTC)
Collaboration of the week
[edit]Dear user dre08! Please note that the rules of voting for Collaboration of the Week candidates have changed recently. Therefore the vote you gave today for the candidate Airport is, unfortunately, invalid. Your votes will only be accepted if they support those candidates that were nominated after you had become the registered member of Wikipedia. Any further discussion should take place on the Talk page of the project. Thanks and sorry for the inconveniences. --Eleassar777 18:48, 7 May 2005 (UTC)
